Ending Sales of Art

The time has come to end on-line sales for Ruth's artwork. Thank you for your interest in her art and her story. We have met many amazing people through her art.  Thank you for your support!
If you would like to support the organization that helps the orphans at her orphanage in Ukraine you may do so at AnOrphanSmiles.
Don't worry, Ruth continues to do art for her own pleasure and not for sale. Please do not try and buy art from her. She does not need the financial support and the income reporting has become an issue.

Gifts of Art Available for Pre-Order Now!

We are gearing up for the fall craft fairs and holiday gift giving season. The Artwork by Ruth 2019 Calendar has been done and is available for pre-orders.  This year's calendar features original encaustic art and oil paintings by Ruth Walker. These are $15 each, plus shipping.

 We have ordered 15 oz. photo mugs with a collage of Ruth's artwork wrapping the mug and finished in black. These are $12 each, plus shipping.

The 5x8 Notebooks were a hit last year so we reordered more of the "Nevertheless She Persisted" notebooks as well as added the "Strong and Courageous" notebooks for this year. These are $12 each plus shipping.

The SLHS Craft Fair is November 3-4, 2018. If you don't want to pre-order or have items shipped, come stop by our booth.

Winter has passed and spring has come. Ruth's art is filled with birds, sunsets and flowers.

Updated Art 2017

I apologize for the long delay of updates in 2017.  The recovery from surgery took many months. Ruth has been working however furiously on preparing for the fall craft fair at SLHS. Here is a sneak peak at what is new:

• "Nevertheless, she persisted"- This oil painting was done as part of a summer art class and represents the strength Ruth has shown throughout her struggles. This print has been made into 4x3 magnets and a few journals.

2.  2018 Artwork Calendars will also be available, with some of Ruth's traditional encaustic art as well as some of her oil paintings. She had a lot of fun with birds this year.

We did not order mugs this year due to wanting to have gifts of art that were reasonably priced and having several left over from the previous years.

Thank you to all of our new friends who have discovered Ruth's art during our time in Baltimore for her latest surgery. As soon as she is released to walk again she will begin making new art for you to order. Until then we only have her current stock available. Let us know if you see anything you like!

The year is half over and I realize that we have not been putting new art on the blog. Ruth continues with her encaustic creations exploring shapes and textured layering. The end product of layered wax is hard to scan well as it is three dimensional and a scan is two dimensional. Here are some of her most recent creations.
